Learn to Paddle: Our course is open to Everyone! Don't know how to paddle? Wausau Whitewater partnered with Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort to offer training during recreational releases. See the training page for more information on how you can improve your skills!

Spectators:
Wausau hosts some of the worlds largest competitions and we want to share our love of Whitewater Kayak and Canoe with you! So, come out and enjoy a wonderful summer day with our paddling community at Wausau Whitewater Park. Food Vendors are always on site and our wonderful staff would love to meet you and share their knowledge of the sport.

7th Annual Midwest Freestyle Championships August 21st and 22nd

Come out and enjoy the fun at during the 2010 Midwest Freestyle Championships! With over 100 paddlers competing for their shot at the Title you are in for a show. From spins to loops (flips), and cartwheels to space godzillas you won't be disappointed. Competitions from 10am-4pm each day.

This world-class resource at Whitewater Park is yours, all yours. They’re your events. Compete, volunteer or sit back and watch the excitement – no matter what you choose, you’ll be glad you got involved. Join us for a day of fun on the water during our recreational releases or take it to the next level at a training camp or clinic. Winning Entry Logo for Junior Worlds

The world comes back to Wausau in 2012. Wausau Kayak/Canoe Corporation is pleased to announce that Todd Malhoit has won the competition to design a logo for the 2012 International Canoe Federation (ICF) Junior Canoe Slalom World Championships event, a major international competitive event to be hosted by Wausau Whitewater in Wausau, Wisconsin in the summer of 2012. Karla Westcott, Chair of the 2012 event “When the committee was discussing the Junior Worlds we felt the event needed a special logo, the contest was launched to attract creative entries. Selecting the winning logo from the submissions was difficult, but the logo by Malhoit caught our attention with the red, white, and blue theme!"
