Our Friends at Whitecap Kayak in Ironwood, MI will be here to introduce you to kayaking. You'll be able to jump in a kayak and take it for a test drive on the flatwater section of our river. Both Sea Kayaks and Whitewater Kayaks are available for demonstrations absolutely FREE!

Recreational Kayaking Lessons
For just $25 our certified instructors will provide you with instruction on beginner recreational and sea kayaking techniques.

Recreational Paddling

If competition and prizes are not for you, come out and enjoy the water at your own pace. All paddlers are welcome to enjoy paddling the channel for the $12 recreational release fee each day! no need to register in advance. Simply show up to the registration table at the park, receive your wristband, and enjoy the day!
