Recreational Releases – 10am to 4pm
A Recreational Release is simply a day when the water flows and any paddler can use the course freely. The cost is $12 for Adults ($8 for children 16 and under) plus a
current American Canoe Association (ACA) Membership Card (you can purchase ACA memberships on site or online). Or, purchase a season pass for all 13 Releases for just $110 ($80 for children 16 and under) plus an ACA membership. No one will be allowed to paddle without proof of membership and a completed WKCC Waiver.

Bring these Forms to the Registration Tent on the Day of the Release
- Equipment Needed:
Helmet, Approved life jacket (PFD), and boat flotation
bags are required in your boat. All paddlers are required to follow
the buddy system which means that no one should paddle alone. Each paddler is responsible for
their own safety.
Season Pass (valid for scheduled recreational releases only; events not included)
Looking to cut to the front of the registration line? Purchase a Season Pass! For just $110 ($80 for Children 16 and under) you will pass by all the daily registrants, receive your wrist band, and be able to paddle at all 13 recreational releases ($156 value).

check this site for updates. Generally, the Recreational Release schedule is
set for the season. Though there might be circumstances
that result in cancellations or additions, this is highly unusual. For
